Big Brother 28: Double Eviction Rocks The House Ahead of

Big Brother 28 saw a dramatic double eviction last night, as Barrett Pfeiffer and Yash Patel were eliminated from the competition, just two weeks before the grand finale. The intense episode featured a week’s worth of Big Brother gameplay unfolding in a single night.

First Eviction: Barrett Pfeiffer Departs

The night began with Barrett Pfeiffer, Melody Morris, and Taylor Brown facing off in the final Block Buster competition of the season. Following this challenge, one houseguest was sent to the jury in seventh place.

Reports on who won the critical final Block Buster competition diverge. According to Yahoo News UK, Melody Morris secured her first competition win of the season, a victory she crucially needed to avoid eviction. However, Kalshi News reported that Taylor Brown won the Block Buster, ensuring his safety and leaving Barrett and Melody vulnerable.

Ultimately, Barrett Pfeiffer was eliminated from the Big Brother house after 71 days, by a 3-1 vote. His relationships within the house were not sufficient to save him, especially after he reportedly isolated himself following nominations.

Second Eviction: Yash Patel Follows

Immediately after the first eviction, the game continued at a rapid pace. Melody Morris secured her second competition win of the season, a True or False challenge, which made her the new Head of Household (HoH). With her newfound power, Melody nominated Dee Valladares and Rick Devens, noting this was the first time only two houseguests were put on the block, as there was no longer a Blockbuster competition.

Rick Devens then triumphed in the Veto competition, successfully completing a giant puzzle. With Rick winning the Veto, he removed himself from the block, and Melody Morris subsequently named Yash Patel as her replacement nominee.

By a vote of 2-1, Yash Patel was evicted from the Big Brother house. Upon his exit, he offered a memorable parting message to the camera: "Stay hydrated America."

The Race to the Finale

With only a few houseguests remaining, the competition intensifies towards the Season 28 finale. The identity of the Week 11 Head of Household will not be revealed until Sunday’s episode.

Prior to the double eviction, the winner market had seen shifts. According to Kalshi News, Dee Valladares had retaken the lead in the Big Brother winner market at 27%, ahead of Rick and Yash, who were tied at 20% each. The double eviction is expected to further shake up these odds as the remaining contestants vie for the grand prize.
